Warm, jazz-infused, uplifting anthems. Designed to inspire and remind people of who they are, and what they’re capable of. For shedding old skin, and blooming into the unknown.

Based in Maryland and raised outside of Seattle, Washington, Kelkoe is an independent artist whose warm voice and eclectic sound blend elements of R&B, jazz, pop, and rock. Kelkoe’s journey as a performing artist began with local open mic nights and talent shows starting in 2012, however her love of playing music started from a young age. Her mom started her in piano lessons at age four, and she jumped from instrument to instrument throughout her childhood, from flute, to saxophone, guitar and ukulele. She’s been writing songs since before she can remember, but only began releasing her own music in 2024. Drawing inspiration from artists like Amy Winehouse, Lauryn Hill and Adele, her music features lush melodies, intricate harmonies and introspective lyrics exploring self-love, identity, and self-discovery. Kelkoe’s goal in pursuing music is simple: to continue to push the boundaries of her sound, artistry and creativity while staying true to herself.

Latest Release: "Rare" by Kelkoe, Jake Vicious, Brooklyn the Kid, Kehova

Kelkoe first started writing Rare on the plane ride home from a sync-songwriting camp in LA with Blaze Unlimited. After spending 3 days in 12hr songwriting sessions, surrounded by incredibly talented artists, musicians, producers, engineers, and other industry folk, she realized that she was in those rooms for a reason. The line “there goes my shell, that kept me safe inside”, was in reference to a conversation with a fellow artist who had watched her grow and come out of her shell from her first EP release to the camp.
The songwriting camp was also less than 3 months after recovering from a major surgery to treat a rare, neurological condition. Hence the name, Rare.
Kelkoe sent a voice memo with the intro to Rare to producer Jake Vicious, who built a beautiful, uptempo production around the memo. In January of 2026, the duo decided to host an open-verse challenge, and the winners Brooklyn the Kid and Kehova we’re included in the single release in July.
Rare is more than just a song. It’s a reminder that we all have a gift, a talent, a purpose for being here. Life is too short to hide our talents.
